• Installation type: Freestanding dishwasher; it can also be slid under a benchtop after removing the worktop, as shown in the installation guide.
• Under-bench cavity: Minimum 600mm wide, 560mm deep and 820mm high, with the dishwasher fixed to the underside of the benchtop using the supplied screws.

Making a claim

For large appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, cooktops, rangehoods, and ovens), an authorised Whirlpool service technician will be sent to assess the claim. For smaller appliances such as microwaves, you may be asked to bring the product to your nearest authorised service agent. Please have your model number, serial number, and proof of purchase ready when submitting your claim.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The WDFS3R4N is registered on the Australian Government Energy Rating register with a 4 Star rating and an energy consumption of 230 kWh per year, under registration numbers ADW1055 and ADW1308 for the Stainless Steel and Black Stainless Steel models and ADW1072 and ADW1311 for the White model. Under the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) scheme each colour holds a 5 Star water rating at 11.5 litres per wash on the Eco 50°C programme, with registration numbers D02853 (WDFS3R4NIXAU), D02852 (WDFS3R4NBSAU) and D02868 (WDFS3R4NWEAU) and licence number 0367.

The Eco 50°C cycle is tested to AS/NZS 2007. Although it takes longer than other cycles, it uses less energy, and pre-rinsing dishes before loading is not needed for any programme. Programme durations are estimates and can vary with water temperature and pressure, load size, detergent and selected options.

The built-in water softener regenerates itself with dishwasher salt once every 4 to 6 Eco cycles at hardness level 3, using about 3 litres of water and up to 5 extra minutes per regeneration.
