It stays tucked away when not in use and opens up to a modern touch-control panel on the glass.

Extraction reaches 714m³/h across three speeds plus an intensive setting that runs for 5 minutes and then returns to the third speed automatically. Maximum noise is rated at 52 dBA. A dimmable LED strip lights the cooktop, with colour temperature adjustable from 2700K to 6500K and brightness up to 152 lux.

Smart functions keep it easy to live with. Delayed switch-off keeps the hood running after cooking (5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes), a 24-hour comfort function runs it at first speed for 5 minutes every 25 minutes, and reminders appear after 30 hours of use for filter cleaning and after 120 hours for the long-life filter. Metal grease filters in a stainless steel case are dishwasher-safe.

The hood can be ducted, or run with a Long-Life anti-odour filter for recirculation (not supplied, to be purchased separately). At 563mm wide, 338mm high and 299mm deep, it needs at least 50cm above a gas or induction hob.
